Dan once did a bit of sub-renting and one of the renters brought a dog
in with him, which happened to be a biter. It bit Dan, and Dan
immediately went to the hospital to get his dog bite taken care of.
After this incident, the renter took his dog and gave it to someone
else. The dog then bit someone else in Florida, and when its history
was known as being a biter, it was put down. Fortunately, Dan didn't
have any side effects or complications for the dog bite.
Dan's treatment was getting the bitten finger rinsed out, some
antibiotics and had a tetanus shot. I sometimes wonder about the
chickens "slobbered on" by dogs.
