Not a Banty. (Although I am drinking Banty Red wine ! lol!) They are 1 1/2 years old and have laid a small egg here and there but I am now getting one a day! Also-I used to get 6 eggs per day. Now I am getting 4-5 and one is usually tiny! They have lots of room, not free ranging but in a very large pasture with 2 goats .

I checked my chickens for lice/mites and they are clear. Their feed is 16% protein and it has been what they have always eaten. I get a very mall egg almost every day now! I don't know which one is laying it or if they all are. Why are they called "Rooster" eggs or Wind" eggs?
