If that 22% Protein is animal protein, I don't think you need to supplement with ground beef. If it is plant protein, then maybe. That ishigh protein, either way.
My turkeys get the higher protein but my hens don't. (Of course they do share)

So if I give them ground beef, should it be 70/30 or do they need lean (like the 90% ground round..)?  I was hoping that the crickets / worms were helping with that..lol

 ....They need ground beef (fat and meat) some products offer animal protein & fish meal and fish meal but most only provide soybean fo the protien leaving a huge gap in the chickens Needs
