Hello; I have 8 hens that are about 18 months old and they have stopped laying eggs this summer (have not laid in a month). They have already been though their molt and we have not had a hot year here this year. I feed them 22% layer pellet (...along with home raised crickets and worms on weekends..). Any ideas as to why they are collectively boycotting their natural function? Do they need something different to eat? I have a mineral block in the coup for them (they have a 10x20 area). Do they get any type of internal parasite(s) that I can treat them for? They all look healthy, but... what am i missing?
Thanks, ~gina
