Chickens are birds, surviving dinosaurs, not mammals, like alligators are, and systemic worms are not usually a problem. You are having a hard time finding a solution to a problem because it does not normally exist. Generally worms are something they eat with relish, not harbor internally.
They have a digestive system that really should be a major topic of medical research, along with that of dogs. Chickens are usually the cure for worms in other animals, like horses. They scratch in the manure and eat both worms and worm eggs, and thrive on the protein source while cutting down the reproduction of same.
If it still bothers you, I suggest you first see if you can find some way to determine whether or not your birds do have systemic worms. You'll probably have to ask a vet about that, although some chick nursery catalogs carry a long line of chicken medicines that might give you some information.

I have horses which always have a parasite load. we put in place a program of worming is set up on a schedule with a rotation of different worming medications.
My understanding is that diatomaceous earth dehydrates insects to kill them. That is not going to happen in the gut, so I can't imagine it will work.
I want an anthhelminic that is proven effective and safe in chickens and their eggs that end up on the dinner table.
Garlic, capsicum and diatomaceous earth are not proven nor effective enough for me to use.
