na , there is no such thing , bird or chicken as 'americaunas' (there's no i in ameraucanas) .... some people mis-speak & mis-spell ameraucana thinking it is spelled ameriucanas .
You also mis-spelled arcauna ... it's (araucana) .
Easter Eggers are crosses of Ameraucanas and/or araucana with other breeds of chickens (=mixed breeds mutts) yet they are a varied beauty mix and some will lay the colored egg .
And Ameracaunas Are Not Known As The "Easter Egg Breed" !!!
Though I guess it could be by the unlearned !!
If you look at the ad Cathryn were refferring to .... you can see they called their chickens Easter Eggers and Ameraucanas (they were correct on the Easter Egger and mistaken on the ameraucanas) .
