Shannon, I ordered partridge silkies from Ideal. I ended up with 5-6 really good quality silkie pulelts with perfect color and penciling. I was quite amazed at how much they have improved their birds. I order every once in a while to keep the penciling and breed them to my show birds.

I know what you mean about the cochins (something magnetic about them).
And it's supprising how many of some breeds from Ideal can be used to show (i once used a little mottled cochin hen to win third best chicken in a show)she came from ideal (lady i got her from had gotten her in an order of mixed bantams)
