Not a black!  Maybe a standard blue (standard blue is almost black) but not true coal black. No way.  If the down has a gray cast to it, it is blue.

Splash also carries the black gene so you could end up with either.

I concur with Melissa.  If your blues have been bred to splash you can end up with either splash or blue.
