Laura, You are so right about bantam game hens, they are fabulous little broodies too. Plus they are very pretty.

I have had three unplanned clutches of chicks this year. All have been Bantam Game Hens. They are small and very dedicated. One hatched TWELVE chicks. They are great brooders. Silkies are also great brooders.
