Today I was in my home office working when my wife hollered from the house that it looked like one of the chickens was out.
I stepped out and saw my alpha-girl Rhoda looking at the others still in the pen, and looking like she really wanted back in.
as soon as she saw me, she ran right up to me, I picked her up and carried her back. as soon as I set her down, she ran into the coop and then came back out, I guess she was seeing if she was really home.
Sure glad it was her, none of the others let me near them, she walks up to me every time I am in the pen, a lot of times when I am checking for eggs, she jumps up into a nest, she like being pet.
Cheers
