We don't sell our eggs but $2 a dozen seems to be the going rate around her. I have a friend who tried to get %3 but wasn't able to sell at that price. We only have 13 hens & usually get a dozen eggs a day, but we supply kids, grandkids, & close friends & any excess we donate to a local soup kitchen. One of the friends has bees, so the supply us with honey & another will occasionally drop off a bag of feed, but of course the kids & grandkids never think of that - lol.
