GARLIC, long term use like you have been doing causes anemia. Did you look at the link I posted?

Okay... wow am I learning. I brought home some dewormer. Now not sure
I should use it. Last three days I had given her food with crushed
raw garlic and hot pepper. Plus a little dish of a dissolved b-50
capsule in a bit of water. She went right for that. Her vent is messy,
but I think that is because she hasn't been able to stand up to do her
business, so has been sitting in it. I have cleaned her up several
times a day and changed the litter. Her stool seems runny but I'm not
seeing any worms. Should I hold off on the dewormer for now? Just from
the b-50, plus the garlic in her food, she is trying to stand up this
morning. She can stand okay, (which she couldn't do last few days), and
bend over to peck at food. She can't walk - falls over when she tries
to take a step. Seems like maybe it could be cocci... yikes. I moved
her out of the pet carrier this morning into my brooder pen in the big
coop, as since she is trying to stand up I want her to have a spot big
enough to be able to do so. But if she has cocci I shouldn't have her
in the big coop. Think I'll go move her out into the rabbit hutch, put
down a layer of cardboard and litter over the wire bottom. That is on
the other side of the house and I'll carefully wash between places. Do
you think continue a couple days on the B Complex before treating her
for the cocci? Sara
