one might get lucky (letting them out for a good while) but wait till the word gets around .... the hawks will come inside to get dinner and like Cathryn said 'it won't take long' .
The heart break is allways bad when this happens ....... i would take all precautions .

Amen Shannon! The little green bird I saw reminded me of connor. It didn't last long at all. I can't imagine letting a macaw out and leaving it outside flying around unattended all day, every day.
