That must be incredibly loud! My scarlet can literally rattle the windows--I can't imagine how loud your house is with as many as you have.

Free flying is not for everyone nor is it for every bird as it is not without risk. It's something I have spent a lot of time working at, going to workshops with some of the top animal trainers in the world and consulting with many that do fly their birds free. I can't think of another parrot that is safer free flying than a big macaw. They are big (so few raptors will risk trying to bring one down), they are loud (so you can always find them if they get lost), they prefer to perch on top of trees rather than inside them (so they are easy to find and they have a good view of approaching danger).
