Deb,
Loved your pictures. I'm assuming that you have more than just Alex? He's got such long skinny legs! Daggy is so little in comparrison! He's full of personality though, that's for sure. He uses our living room as a race track and has recently learned to go up and down the stairs. Our parrots make him a little nervous though. Do these guys like to play with toys? I have an online parrot toy business and he does seem to be somewhat interested in our bead toys. I'll have to get some more recent pictures of him. He's growing like a weed and his comb is getting bigger. This has just been an incredible experience thus far.

>> Jennifer, OMG!!! That has to be the cutest little birdie on the planet! What a bizarre looking little thing! Looking at the comb, I would say he was a boy birdie. But only time will tell on that one. He is precious in every way. Glad he's a 'house chicken'...more and more, people are learning what interesting and entertaining pets house chickens make. The roosters actually seem to be the most fun since they have such 'personalities'. You will be amused at how he learns to come when he's called. I taught our house rooster, Alex, the meaning of the word "stop!". We used to travel with him and that meant letting him out for a potty break in various fields or even parking lot planters. If Alex decided to race around, or pick up a cigarette butt, I could say "STOP" and he would freeze. If you have a chance, go see Alex's folder on this group "Alex, the man about town". We used to love to take him in the cart with us at Micheals...people would pass by
tinking he was a straw chicken in the cart, but then they'd see him move and about die! It was so funny! We'd tell them the roosters were on isle 7. Most of the time, they'd believe us! People are so silly.
