I dont use medicated feed because I also raise Turkeys, geese, ducks, and others. I switch to a grower formula at about 6-8 weeks. Although it is safe to feed starter until grown at 6 months.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about keeping the chicks
waterers clean. I now have some more ideas - but I think it comes down
to changing the waterers out 3 or 4 times a day.
I decided to go with the small dish style that use 1 quart mason jars.
This way they are light enough for me to change them out easily. I put
them up on scraps of wood we had so the chicks don't get them too dirty
and can't tip them over. As the weeks go by I think I will have to
change to bigger waterers, but for now this seems to be working.
On another topic how long do you keep your chicks on medicated starter?
Thanks
Debbie
