not to be mean, but good luck with that. It takes longer to tell the
differences between males and females in Silkies. I didn't know that
Cotton was a girl until I figured out she was laying the pretty
pearl-colored eggs. Male Silkies have those long stray feathers in
their crests. Like I said, it takes longer to tell the differences
between male and female Silkies - longer than it does with other chicken
breeds.
