I belong to a Buckeye group and everyone says the ones from Meyer are not hardy birds. Many have failure to thrive. Not sure where you are but I will have chicks soon for sale, no shipping tho. The best place to get birds (especially Buckeyes) is from a breeder.
If you are on Facebook you should join The Buckeye Chicken group, make sure it is this one as there are two.
