Re: [CHICKENS-101] Re: Why I won't have free-range chickens

Based on my own experience with my German Shepherd, I'd keep an eye on him. However, my own dog goes crazy if she is isolated or locked up in a kennel. I have to do it at times but she is really hyper when she is first let out and that is the time she is most likely to be rambunctious and aggressive.

I have learned that keeping her with me at all times makes her mellow and obedient. I also learned a long time ago that if you tie a plastic milk bottle with a bit of milk in it from a tree so it is just slightly out of her reach, she may spend hours jumping and trying to bite it. I was able to wear my dog down by letting her play for hours with this device. She loved it. Playing kept her out of trouble.

Good luck and she is lucky to have been found by you!
