ps My red pyle is such a good rooster I put my friend's buff cockerels in with him and his girls so the buffs would learn to dance for their girls, and breed gently. He is hen marked in his coloring.

Sigo, I don't want to hurt your feelings but chickens can live with one eye. Someone let a pet rat, with beautiful markings that had a special name, go at our farm. I couldn't catch it in a trap, and ended up poisoning it. A staff member at school wanted itbut when it bit my silkies, war was declared. The rat bit the eye on 3 of my inquisitive silkies. I treated them with eye ointment and oral antibiotics. Both hens are alive, lay and my red pyle silkie rooster is fertile. I have eggs due to hatch under my hens. A friend here, member/Dave, has seen my red pyle and that he is well and alive.
