You mean shredded wing tips? Or the wing tips are not shredded? Yes there are frizzled silkies, I raise them.

One of my Silkie chicks has barbicels on the primary feathers. The chick is only 2.5 weeks old, so there aren't a lot of other feathers. The chick has the toes, feathered feet and skin color of a Silkie, although it sure is a big chicken to be a bantam. Is this a common fault in Silkies?
Can there be frizzled Silkies?
