I tried the ceramic eggs they didn't work for me kicked them out of the coop, seems I was the only one fooled, TWICE. I have one chicken who is so broody she will not leave the coop. I gave her some mealworms in the lid of a candle jar and found her sitting on that, it is now her constant companion. Some of the others have resorted to climbing on her in an attempt to use her spot but she will not budge, the remainder lay where they please. I am so glad I spent so much money on a "Green Chicken Coop" alas I need another, who knew I would fall in love with my birds and want more, more, more. Thanks to all of you for sharing, and good luck to you from a scottish ex-pat.
