[CHICKENS-101] Mixed hatch/stagger hatch and brooding indoors [1 Attachment]

I know that most people don't recomend a mix hatch (ducks and chickens) but it works good for me for the most part. I am also trying a stagger hatch now. The next batch is bantams. So far I haven't had any luck hatching bantams the regular way so I'm trying it this way. I'm also trying to get a hen to hatch some the old fashioned way. I hope one or both work,  something has to.
Last week the buff orp chicks hatched even with storm killing the electricity for several hours. The ducklings are hatching and it appears that the power outage last week had little to no effect on them. So far 7 have hatched,  2 pips working on their turn in the bator, and four more that haven't pipped yet.
My brooder is full lol. Going to have to move the ducklings to a brooder in the coop soon. The chicks go to their new home this evening. Buff orp chicks make very good litte mamas to new hatched ducklings. They cuddle them and show them food and water. After they got done running from the first "alien" I put in with them that is. I about died laughing at them.
I can handle brooding chicks indoors for a month but ducklings only get to be in a few days,  a week would be pushing it awful far. They insist on playing, swimming,  or sleeping in the water. I have to change it frequently.
