[CHICKENS-101] Lost eye

 

Hi, new post, been a member 3 months plus, in UK.
Have a friend with a 3 hens. Smallest one has been bullied by others, is being excluded, picked on and seems to have had her eye pecked out.
I've no experience with this, mine generally get along, but trying to help with my best advise and common sense.
Wound was noticed about 2 weeks ago. Is bathed daily with saline but socket is not healing, keeps gunging shut with custardy like evil smelling discharge.
Is there any hope for her? What more can be done? She is still eating, drinking and laying and seems to be otherwise herself?
Home remedies would be preferable-if anyone can advise would be very grateful.
