OK, so I bought 6 Rhode Island Red chicks about 2 weeks ago, I have them in their own personal apartment with food and water. They are very messy, just like little kids :) but a couple of them had kinda large 'things' attached to their backside, it looked mostly like dried poo, I held them gently and ran warm water over it until it softened enough to remove.
So.
Is this 'normal'?
I checked all the rest and they are fine.
If this is normal, should I check the big girls? they are about 14 weeks old.
