I'm guilty of correcting family enough about misinformation that they tease me about it. It's their way of coping. I have an extended family of people who are comfortable living in ignorance. Glad my household isn't like them. I was a bookworm way back before internet and have been the family "nerd" my entire life. I like research. I'd rather know the facts and make my decisions from there.
