Is there a link that shows what the feathering and colors really look like? The look and color of a chicken (and the eggs) are important. I'll probably be buying from show breeders.
What kinds of chickens have a rose comb?
Are the French Marans (I think that's how it's spelled) the only breed that has a really dark brown egg?
How long does a well cared for chicken really live?
I've bought a couple of books, one on building a coop and the other on general back-yard chicken keeping. Does anyone have suggestions of books?
