[CHICKENS-101] Hackle Feathers

 

I think I still need time.The wyandotte's Feathers are rounded around the Hackle area but I do remember them growing and they were spindly.The Australorp is also rounded-but may be changing.They are about 19 weeks old.The Wyandotte is and always has been the boss.Time will tell.The Australorp has a lovely red comb and wattles.This bird is far more developed than the wyandotte in characteristics.I just want them all to lay eggs! Lol!I do understand what you mean as Percy has beautiful pointy Hackles and saddle feathers.It is clearer to me about the characteristics.Thank you for the information.
