I have the Red Sex link. They are good layers. We got chicks in the
beginning, but now that we've done that I just buy four month old pullets
from the feed store. This is what I tell people to do if they just want
eggs. Of course, if you want the entire chicken experience, you'd want to
do something else. I do like the different breeds, so I have a couple of
different ones. Chickens are fun.

Anyone else raise these Golden Buffs (aka Red Star, Golden Comet, Red Sex
Link, Isa Browns)? I really can't get over how many eggs I'm getting a day
and it's not even SPRING! Every day this week, 20 eggs out of 20 birds. This
doesn't happen to me...
