I can understand sending the kids home of the heat wasn't working at all--but "ONLY 65"?? Why on earth would the heat be any higher than 65 in any case?
For many years I had a thermostat in my classroom, which I always set between 60 and 65... Boy, did I miss it when I got moved into the other building and had no way to control the heat in my room, short of opening windows!
Rhonda (who's spent the last week adding insulation to the coop whenever I found pieces of linoleum and such to keep the biddies from pecking it... High of 15 today with gusting wind, zero at 5 P.M., and I don't want to think what it is now!)
