We are at 13º today. I think we will keep the babies in today, in spite
of the sunshine. I will have to bring them hot water. The outside
spigot is frozen.
The inside babies are doing well, although we lost Cecil. His comb and
wattles were red and he was still quite healthy. We think it may have
been a heart attack. Cecil was the only one deathly afraid of our cats,
and our cats don't bother the chickens, except to sniff them once in a
while. Cecil was a pretty little feller, and we will miss him.
