Re: [CHICKENS-101] Re: Enough Already!

Wow! I have never heard of a Turkey doing that. He must be a domesticated gobbler. I only have one good Turkey story and it isn't mine. My dad received a new hat for Christmas. It was one of those hats with the ear flaps that snap user the chin or snap on top of the head If you were not using the ear flaps.his farm family was very poor and had lots of children so he was pretty happy and proud of his new hat. He had to go in the coops to collect eggs.... Yes he wore the hat and didn't see the Turkey sitting in a tree in the coop. He walked under where the Turkey was
Perched. The turkey covered his head with turkey poop! He can laugh about it now but he wasn't happy about it then. Giggle!

> That was a good answer Charlene, you made me laugh! Here's another "Us chickens were talking about things other than chickens....."Only now we are talking turkey, as in wild turkey in Michigan. I wonder if the incidents with people and wild turkeys are wild turkeys raised in captivity and released. Wild turkeys have strong survival instincts, and there sure seem to be many turkey incidents that counter that survival instinct.
