Mine are out right now and it's wet, but I am going out in a few minutes. Bet they ate all of the chickweed, grass seed, and dandelions I planted/roots/seeds in the two days they have been out. I am going throw more chopped up along with their pumpkins in their pens inside and out for tomorrow. That is another thing I have to do, find left over pumpkins in bulk.... mine are down to 3-4 bushels left. Thank heavens for a large garden of dandelions, chickweed, purslane, young chicory, and turnips. If I don't get off my fanny I'll be out picking by the flood lights... great day teaching today - well behaved, fun students and good fun lessons...was just waiting on my coffee and aspirin to kick in.

Any sugguestions on how to keep the ground dry? I have silkies and cochins and they are a horrible mess right now because of this crazy weather. So I'm wondering if there's anything that will help with the ground being soo wet, I'm gonna put straw down again but it seems like the straw is doing more harm then good because it's seems like it's holding the water if anything. Any other suggestions on how I can get the coops ground dry instead of looking like a Huge mud puddle?
