<g> I thought of that video while I was feeding horses this morning... "Nick's Chick" left no egg in his stall yesterday, so I figured it must be her day off. This morning, she came *running* down to the horse barn, flew up to "bank" the stall partition, and sort of scuttled across the stall to her corner (with her legs crossed, maybe??) I think she just barely made it--the egg was already there when I looked in from the next stall, and she'd made no sort of a nest cup like she usually does!
Do chickens have a sound for "Whew!"?? Anyway, betcha that egg came out with enough force to shove some billiard balls...
