It's great fun watching them hatch eggs & raise their young.
Is it cold this time of year where you are?
If so you will need to find her a good sheltered area so the chicks wont get cold. Don't try moving her before they -hatch but they wont like the cold.
She will keep them warm till they have thier adult feathers.
But I am thinking we are entering winter here in uk now. I would not want broodies hatching eggs right now.
One of our silver partridge pekins went broody a second toime this year she successfully hatched a batch out this summer already so we are not letting her sit this time as it is too cold & we are taking her off the nest twice a day. Hopefully she will give up soon. LOL Jane & co
