How to raise Backyard Chickens: [CHICKENS-101] Re: Bumblefoot, and stuff...

She seems to be doing well, eating all the goodies we are giving her and pooping every where, sounds normal to me! and walking around as normally as one could expect with a bandaged foot.. she is putting weight on it so that is way better than before.

We will change her bandage tonight just because I am sure she has stepped in poop no matter how often we change the papers.

I am sooooo looking forward to finding work in town here, then though I will still need a car ( we are 7 miles out of town) I will have more options...

(and I will have more time at home, which I prefer to commuting)
The big issue with the car now is that hubby found the parts for about a third of the mechanics price.. but cant get them till Tues.. Hubby says he can change the part, but if we do that then the mechanic gets nothing for his trouble.. and while he was over priced he was doing all he can and invested some time into the project ... so we still may have him install the part on wednesday...

Its weird not having a car... I was supposed to buy something off of craigslist when it happened, so that is postponed.. .and taking hubby grocery shopping today wasnt ideal... sometimes its fine, but today he had "other plans" and taking me to the store put him out so he rushed me thru the whole thing... I skipped several things on the list just to make it quicker...

I have not heard from work, so as of right now, hubby will have to drive me into work ( 100miles R/T) I am pretty sure that at least one coworker can get me with in 20 miles of home ( from where hubby can pick me up)

Oh.. the baby cuckoo marans are doing well... they have not been handled at all so they are very skittish...
