[CHICKENS-101] orego-stim for chickens

My orego-stim order came in.  It's made from oregano extract. I am going to put in my chicken's water today along with poultry vitamins to tide Dave's and my silkies over the stress of being put together and handle the stress of establishing a new pecking order. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I've read about orego-stim for several years and found it at firststatevetsupply.com, Peter Brown. I just hope they do not hate the taste. It smells nice, but like medicine. Do you think I should try mixing some diluted with feed and put it in treat dishes to see if they like it?  Or just bite the bullet and put it in their water dishes? I am thinking that with the orego-stim I save the last 3 jars of my tumeric for having feed made by the 1000lbs instead of using a tsp at a time off and on. I am only reliable about adding my tumeric, kelp, and brewers yeast when it is pre mixed in my feed...You know you get a day when you are exhausted, worked hard, and your chickens are lucky to get their feed with a bit of steam rolled oats and wheat, and their pumpkins and turnips/greens tossed to them.
I came in for my galoshes because I have to finish washing the last bag of water and dishes before it is too cold to do so. Because i can't make up mind, thought i should see what members would do.
