Did you call Hake? He agrees with that your rooster probably has MG. Remember when I emailed you recommending that you keep him on the tetracylcine and add tylan?

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Re: Respiratory problem - please help! Gape? MG? Cholera? Update
Yes perhaps that's the one that was so rare. And yet I think those symptoms seemed to match what I was seeing! I barely remember what I've read. Honestly, I've read about so many diseases at this point, that they're all mixed up in my head LOL! He was the same last time I checked. Eager to get out of the cage and scratch around. But still 'gaping' once in a while. I swear, this chicken is so spoiled. And timid & friendly and scared of everything, including his own crow! He even stands next to my daughters and preens himself as we play math games in the driveway as part of homeschooling. He thinks he's human. How in the world am I ever going to get him back into the regular coop? Our other "normal" 4 mo old roo heard this guy in the sheep barn yesterday and boy was he alarmed and ready to defend his girls. Even though he's not a mean roo yet, we may have to cull him to make it possible to put our spoiled boy in w/ the hens. Oh, the drama.....
