There's always the option of saying, "As old as my tongue and a little older than my teeth," to quote Mr. Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street!

Cathryn--you'll appreciate this, as a teacher. One fall I went out on playground duty, meeting up with sseveral of my last year's first graders who were now in second grade in the next room. One stayed silently thoughtful next to me... Finally burst out with, "Mrs. Greeley says she's a hundred and eighteen, but I don't think that can be right." Long pause as the mental gears continued to turn. "Because she told my big sister the same thing, and that was three years ago!"
