[CHICKENS-101] Re: Propane water heater for chickens

I wish we could find somewhere to rehome the chickens while we are gone. So far we have not been able to find anyone. The chickens are now wintering in our 72' x 24' green house. This protects them from the wind, snow and the worst of the cold. They have a portable coop on wheels inside that they roost in at night. When summer is here the portable green house is moved outside.

I'd say rehome the chickens or get someone to care for them that has facilities to do so.  To leave chickens home with out electricity to keep their water from freezing and no one to check on them daily is not responsible husbandry in my book.
