Uhhh, that is what I was kind of wondering. Actually I was thinkking, the poster of the picture must have some cahones. LOL cause even having a picture of a dead one I think can get you in trouble. It's a HUGE no no to kill them. Even fi they are feasting on your livestock. One ranch in NM, they hadn't picked up the rams before we moved there and the ewes lambed about a month early while the bald eagles were still there, and they were hauling off baby lambs left and right, and we couldn't do a dang thing about it.

They can't arrest your rooster but they can arrest you. It is illegal to even have the carcass in your possesion. You cannot even have a feather off of a protected species, this includes son birds and raptors.
