| Hi! I watched a news show on ragweed that said it has become so resistant to poisons and weed killers that the farmers are suffering badly. It is so bad it can break their combine machines in the fields because it grows so very large and tough and they are being forced to have their crops picked by hand instead of machines. It said that there wouldn't be a solution to the problem till at least 10 or 15 years from now. I pull it up when small. After it gets big it goes so deep my hubby has to do the pulling! Our hens free range, but they don't seem to care for ragweed - how bad is it when even the hens won't eat it!!
