Re: [CHICKENS-101] What to do now?

Valerie, It take a lot of time for the scales to return to normal. I would treat your hens twice with ivermectim then give them time to molt their scales and grow new ones. Then paint their roost with linseed oil or clean motor oil, then wipe it off with a rag after the oil has soaked into the wood that can soak in.

m sooooo frustrated. I have one hen with scaly leg mites. The other three in the same pen are showing no signs, but I have been treating all three anyway. I have tried every treatment option that I could find. Nothing. No improvement. She is not responding to any treatment. She is eating, drinking and pooping fine. She is not laying eggs. Can anyone tell me what to do? I have tried dipping in vegetable oil daily for a week, ivermection dropped on the legs. Poultry dust, de. I am out of ideas and can't find any other ideas online.
Thanks
Valerie in Va.
