You cared for him and you were fighting to save his life. and now you are feeling defeated. seems like a great reason to cry and probably healthy, too.
they need to have some empathy.

Romeo passed away yesterday, when his crop didn't empty yesterday morning, I knew it was just a matter of time, he was lucky, he fell asleep and just never woked up....No convulsions or nothing horrible..
As I'm burying him, I'm of course crying again, (you guys must think I'm a huge baby by now), but no one in my house gets it, perhaps it's me. But I get laughed at and hear things like "MOM, it's only a chicken". I don't get it? What exactly is so funny about Romeo passing?? They didn't laugh when our Mastiff passed away 6 years ago?So I have learned to just keep to myself.
