Laurie, What a great cat you have! Flush and your mouse is gone!
It's a good thing I am planning to go to my parents tomorrow. There is an even teenier kitten in a different live trap. I gave it food and water, carefully, and put the trap inside for the night on a feed sack. It's as wild as a March Hare racing around with it's claws out in a frenzy, and has really long claws for a teeny thing. Wonder if someone dumped their kittens at night here. We've had cats dumped here many times before. If they are trainable adults we've fixed, paid my vet to keep them a week to see if they could be socialized, and kept the tame ones. Barney was the best and hunted with Maggie, both took on fox, adult wild rabbits, and everything that crossed the property line that didn't belong here. They even enlisted the horses and goats help.
I want my cat from Dave and am not going to take on a feral kitten.

My one cat will play with the mouse till its dead -- if he catches it in the house, he put it in the toilet -- outside he leaves it by the door Laurie --
