[CHICKENS-101] Chickens not laying

 

Hey group I am new to raising Chickens, love them. But I lost one of my original 3 and bought 3 new chicks about 7 months ago. The two originals, 1 Buff and 1 RIR are laying and are about a year old. The 3 new RIR girls should be laying now. One did start but stopped.

The problem, the two older birds beck and harrass the new ones like crazy like two terrorists. The new girls are scarred all the time. Even when they tried to use the nests the older girls ran them off.

So I divided my chicken pen in two and have divided the chicken hutch into two seperate spaces. One of the young ones has started two lay but not the other two.

What would you do, have I done all I can?
