[CHICKENS-101] Chickens and the Heat

 

It's been pretty hot here.
I go out 3 times in the afternoon to make sure the ladies have water and ice bottles. My sister informed me that I am taking the "empty nest syndrome" too far. She is mistaken. My ladies need water to live, especially in the heat.
Besides, they come out of hiding to greet me.
My little black silkies are sooo cute. Last night when I went to put them to bed, I couldn't find them -- the already had put themselves to bed.
In a couple of weeks, they will be big enough to join the older ladies. I will make sure they can find a place to hide.
Chickens are nice to have.
