How sweet. She has such pretty eyes and a sweet personality. I am sure she thinks she has died and went to heaven with you for her chicken mom.

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Miss Pouf's new haircut
I finally broke down, and trimmed the feather around Miss Pouf's eyes,
as I couldn't see how she was seeing to get around. Never having had to
trim facial feathers before, I took a pair of scissors and trimmed the
feathers above the eyes and even the top part of her cheeks/beard and
discovered that Miss Pouf has humongous, beautiful black eyes. The cut
feathers was very much like cut hair, flying everywhere, with occasional
quills, but when it was over, she thanked me for letting her see so much
better. It is a good thing that I don't show Pouf, as I am definitely
not the best hairdresser around town. But it was the look of gratitude
that Pouf gave me, that melted this hard cold heart.
Next thing on the list - pedicures for all!!!
