Another word on the crowing.  They don't just crow at 4 a.m.  Here there are lots of chickens and roosters.  We frequently had our rooster crowing at midnight, 1 am talking to the rooster up the street.  We have awesome neighbors who politely mentioned in the summer they like to keep their windows open.  Our rooster was dinner.  Roosters are loud at any time.  Angela

We take a dozen egss from, our illegal chickens to neighbors. No complaints.
