RE: [CHICKENS-101] another sick hen

> I just got done giving my hens a treatment of sulmet for cocci on Friday
but one of the hens who wasn't acting sick before is now not eating or
doing anything. She has been drinking though. I'm wondering if I should
separate her from the rest of the flock and give her another treatment? I
was afraid of overdosing so I haven't done anything yet. I tried giving
her various foods that she likes - clover, strawberries etc. but she's not
interested. Any suggestions what could be wrong?

I would not give her another round of Sulmet if she is sick after the
treatment. Or do were the others sick and you think she didn't get the
treatment and is now getting sick? I would check her over and check her
crop and all that to make sure nothing wrong there. Give her vitamins in
the water. Why did you give Sulmet? Where they acting sick to make you
think they have cocci?
